The Chinese government has taken several measures to combat cyber-crime. Since the detection of the China DDoS website, the government has worked to shut it down and prosecute those responsible. Additionally, the government has worked to educate the public on safe internet practices and the dangers of cyber-crime. However, the effectiveness of these measures is still questionable as the use of DDoS attacks from China continues to rise.
